A Bitcoin Wallet Where You Can Securely Buy, Use, And Accept Bitcoin Currency

Like banks are for cash, Coinbase is a place for Bitcoin. Coinbase is a website where you can get your Bitcoin address aka your wallet to keep your Bitcoins in and you can transfer the Bitcoin to your bank for a small fee from $0.15 to $0.50 per transaction.

So, just like a bank account, it will hold your Bitcoins and you can send them anywhere online, convert, or transfer to the bank.

Coinbase helps you buy, use and receive Bitcoin currency in a secure manner. It can be used by private individuals, businesses and developers.

Based in San Francisco, California, Coinbase was founded by Brian Armstrong and Fred Ehrsam. They have just launched a Coinbase Community, a discussion site for Coinbase customers. They hope to generate a knowledge base where customers can help out one another and also have closer communication with Coinbase employees.
