Every Stock Photo is a search engine for free photos. These come from many sources and are license-specific. Currently the site indexes and searches millions of freely licensed photos, from many sources, and present them in an integrated search.
You can view a photo’s license by clicking on the license icon, below and left of photos. Membership is free and allows you to rate, tag, collect and comment on photos.
Most of the images are free to use under specific conditions. It is best, however, to visit the sites that host these images, and review the licenses there. Do take note as well that there are special issues regarding photos of people (especially children!), landmarks and trademarks.
Launched in 2006, Every Stock Photo is owned by Vibrant Software based in Vancouver, Canada.
