Augmented Reality App On Smartphone For Safer Driving

The IOn Road app requires the phone to be mounted on the windshield of the car. Using the devices sensors, it would provide real-time information to the driver including location, traffic and collision detection. The application provides features that would otherwise be found only in high end car consoles.

The app also has an impressive parking feature, wherein the app will assist in the parking of the car and also will click a photograph of where the car has been parked. It also provides directions on how to return back to the car once you’re done with your work.
